Dallas Babysitters

I am a fourth-year Accounting major at the University of Texas at Austin. I have worked with kids for most of my life through taking care of my younger siblings and cousins, volunteering at elementary schools, and babysitting kids in other families. I love to do anything from playing kitchen to playing with dolls to sword fighting. It's more fun for me to take an interactive approach when it comes to babysitting because I want the experience to be fun for the kids too!

I have been babysitting for five years. I started out as a babysitter in my local neighborhood at fifteen, then eventually began working in farther locations with new families. While babysitting, I have also had the opportunity to work at a tutoring center as an administrative assistant, a nursery caregiver at a church, and a tutor. In my free time, you will usually find me taking dance classes, skateboarding, and spending time absorbing the outdoors. When babysitting, I enjoy going to the park/on walks, arts and crafts, board games, movies, and baking when it comes participating in activities.

I am a recent college graduate of PVAMU with a masters in Health Education. I’ve been working with children for 2 years and enjoy every moment of it. A few of my favorite activities to do with kids are create and put together different kinds of puzzles, doing arts and craft projects, developing motor skills in fun ways to keep children engaged, and having dance breaks. In my free time I like to coach track and field, hang out with friends/families, go to the movies, do hair and making new foods in the kitchen. I am a very fun outgoing person with a lot of energy to match growing kids. My favorite part of the job is watching children grow and learn as mush as they can while they can. Making a positive impact on a child’s life can make all the difference.

I have been in child care for about 5 years now I have experience in ages 6 months and older. Some activities I like to do with the children would most likely be coloring, playing outside, swimming, reading books, doing arts and crafts and so much more! I graduated from a junior college with my Associates in Arts I want to go back to school in a year or two to get my bachelors in education. Some of my personal hobbies would be biking, hiking, reading books and taking a naps when I can find the time.

I'm currently a 4th year psychology and neuroscience major at UT Austin, and I've worked as a behavior therapist with children with ASD for 2 years. I will be going to graduate school to become an Occupational Therapist. I love crafts, reading books, board and card games, outdoor play, and just sitting for a good chat to any kiddo who wants a listener. I love a good late night sit, since I'm a night owl, and I'm cat and dog friendly!
