Simple, seamless scheduling: Become a member to find and book your ideal babysitter in just a few clicks.

  • Complete your profile
  • Select the date and time of your sit
  • Review local sitters that meet your family’s needs

Membership Levels

We require sits to be at least 3 hours or for our sitters to be paid for 3 hours if you need them for less time. Your membership is month to month* with no contract. 
 
*Your month is based on a 30 day billing cycle starting the day you join.
 
Please note: The following areas surrounding Austin, TX require $15 travel fees paid directly to the sitter for each sit; Liberty Hill, Lago Vista, Lakeway, Spicewood, Marble Falls, Wimberley, Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Elgin and Bastrop.
 
These areas are subject to change.

Rush fee

Sits requested with less than 24 hours notice are not guaranteed and will be charged if the sit is filled. 

$20 rush fee for Monday – Wednesday sits.
$40 rush fee for Thursday – Sunday sits.

Sitter Rates

Our sitters are paid by Babysitting Connection, your card on file will be charged the hourly rates due and any fees associated with your sit at the completion of your sit. You will receive a receipt post sit, where you are welcome to add a tip, or tip the sitter cash or electronic payment directly to them should you so choose.  

Our sitters’ pay rate is based on the duties of a babysitter. Because of this, please do not ask our sitters to do anything unrelated to childcare.

CANCELLATION FEES

Sits canceled within 72 hours will be charged a cancellation fee to the members account and paid directly to the sitter.

Cancellation Within 24-72 Hours Of Sit $25

ADDITIONAL SITTER FEES

Paid directly to the sitter at the end of the sit.

Group Sit (5+ Children) Sitter Hourly Rates $28/hr*

For sits with more than 5 children, you will need more than 1 sitter. Our maximum ratio is 5 children per 1 sitter. *Church group sits are $23/hr

Holiday Sitter Hourly Rates
1.5x hourly rate

NYE, New Years Day, Valentine's after 5pm, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Overtime Sitter Hourly Rates
1.5x hourly rate

Sitters rates becomes 1.5x if the sit is extended more than 30 minutes once the sit has started.

Mileage Reimbursement
$0.73/mi

Paid to your sitter if they transport your child(ren) in their own vehicle during your sit.

Overnight Sit Rates

$130 for 10 hours; while children are sleeping from 9pm-7am.

Sick Children Policy

We do not sit for sick children. If your child is showing any symptoms, please cancel any scheduled sits until they are better. Click here to see the full policy.

Convenience Fee

A 4% convenience fee will be applied to every transaction.
